I'm a true oatmeal cookie monster... I just counted, and as of January 2018, I have shared 47 oatmeal cookie recipes along with you. Eep! Have you ever tried any of these yet? (? You'll find all my oatmeal cookie recipes directly there!) They are a few of the most well-known recipes in my website because they taste really sweet and comfy, just like traditional"indulgent" oatmeal cookie recipes, but they include no refined sugar or bread!

So you will start with whole wheat germ (or gluten free, if you want ) and instant oats (such as these... or those for a gluten free version!) . Immediate oats are smaller and thinner than conventional rolled oats, and you may locate them in canisters right alongside those classic oats at the grocery shop.

I probably seem like a broken record by now... But cause I ? you and need your cookies to turn out absolutely soft and chewy, I am reminding you again... Measure your yogurt and bread properly, applying this method or even a kitchen scale! (? That is the one I own and enjoy. A lot of either ingredient is likely to make your cookies taste cakey or sterile, as opposed to chewy. This is particularly true of this oats--they behave like little sponges and soak up lots of moisture out of your cookie dough!

Ripe bananas- perfect for baking! Really like all @amybakeshealthy's yummy & wholesome banana recipes!

Watch those bananas? And all those brown stains? When it comes to baking with bananas, brown = amazing! I ? extra speckly bananas Check Out Your URL because they've a lot glowing, bold flavor--and also additional sweetness! That's the minimum amount of brown which I suggest. More is better!

The remaining portion of the cookie dough's sweetness comes in another pure ingredient... Pure maple syrup (such as that!) . You would like the type that comes directly from maple trees, which is typically offered in sparse glass bottles or squat, round plastic jugs. Forget the pancake sugar and sugar-free syrup!

The peppers include even more natural sweetness! The recently purchased, extra plump, perfectly soft ones are ideal... But if you have old, somewhat dried out carbohydrates (hmm... it seems absurd to explain dried fruit as dried out! ) , that's okay!

Simply add them to a microwave-safe bowl, and pour water on top until they're fully coated. Seal plastic wrap over the surface, and then microwave the bowl on high for 1 minute. If you let the peppers sit while mixing together the cookie dough, this small hint hydrates them they're exceptionally juicy--and that makes a large difference in these cookies once they're baked!

Healthy Banana Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Yields: 15 cookies

The familiar cozy spices and plump blueberries make these even more irresistible. They'll keep for a minumum of one week if stored in an airtight container in the fridge --if they last long!

1 cup (100g) instant oats (fermented if required and measured like this)

3/4 cup (90g) whole wheat or gluten-free* flour (measured like this)

1 1/2 tsp baking powder

1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons (28g) unsalted butter or olive oil, melted and cooled slightly

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup (120mL) pure maple syrup

1/4 cup (40g) raisins

In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, pasta, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk together the butter or coconut oil, mashed banana, and vanilla. Stir in the maple syrup. Add the flour mixture, stirring only until incorporated.

With a spoon and spatula, dip the cookie dough into 15 rounded scoops onto the sheet, and apply to the desired thickness and width by means Vegan Cookie Recipes - Vegan Richa of a spatula. Bake at 325°F for about 10-12 minutes. Cool to the pan for 10 minutes before turning out onto a wire rack.

Notes: It is extremely important to measure both the wheat and oats correctly utilizing this method or even a kitchen scale. (? That's exactly the one I own and adore!) Too much of either could dry from the biscuits and leave them cakey rather than chewy.

Instant oats are also known as quick-cooking or moment oats. They come in massive canisters, exactly like old-fashioned oats. They're not those in the small flavored loaf of bread. To make your own, add the same number of traditional yogurt into your food processor, and pulse 10-12 days or until the oats are approximately 1/4 to ? of their original size.

For the fermented flour, I suggest the following blend: 1/2 cup (60g) millet flour, 2 tbsp (15g) tapioca flour, two tbsp (15g) brown rice flour, as well as 1/2 tsp xanthan gum. Most store-bought fermented flour blends (such as this one!) Will also work, if measured like this.

For your best results, use the ripest and spottiest bananas you'll be able to find!

If your raisins are old, drier, and not too plump or succulent... Add them into a microwave-safe bowl, and pour water on top until they're fully coated. Seal plastic wrap across the surface, and microwave the bowl on high for 1 minute. If you let the raisins sit while mixing together the cookie dough, this little trick hydrates them so they're really soft and juicy!
